William, the duke of Normandy: 1048 to 1060

While you were gone with part of your army to attempt the retaking of Alençon, Count Geoffrey moved and managed to reinforce the garrison at Domfront and to revictual the town: all your work laying siege to it is wasted. While you remain here, count Geoffrey is freed up to continue harrassing your peasants and threatening to take more towns. You can either
Move to attack count Geoffrey's army, a few miles away to the southwest; or
Reinvest Domfront and start the siege over; or
Raise the siege and withdraw back to your territory to reinforce what you still hold.
